Internships with Shen for Hennepin County Attorney
The Shen for Safety campaign is seeking motivated students to join our campaign team as interns for the 2026 election cycle.
Interns will gain hands-on experience in campaign operations, voter outreach, policy research, communications, and community engagement. This is a fast-paced, real-world learning opportunity for students interested in public service, law, public policy, and political organizing. Interns will work directly with campaign leadership and gain exposure to local government, elections administration, and public safety policy.
All interns will work closely with the candidate, UMN Law Professor Francis Shen. Professor Shen has mentored hundreds of research assistants, with his former students going on to success in law school, medical school, and beyond.
